At Wagging Tails Pet Resort in Hadley, we are lifelong dog and cat parents who saw a need for a high-end, safe place where dogs could play, train, and stay. We also saw a need for a cozy, safe place for cats to board when their owners are away. We have designed a custom facility with your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness in mind.

Fun for your Furry Friends
Our facility is equipped with high-end, clean, safe and secure lodging rooms, 3 spacious play rooms with full outdoor play areas, a training room, and a full-service grooming room.
Our daycare allows dogs to socialize and play with dogs of different breeds and ages. Our team is knowledgeable and trained to assess the social capability and adaptability of dogs that are put together. This helps to ensure that dogs are not exposed to anxiety and stressful situations.
The outdoor areas are top quality K-9 turf designed for optimal cleanliness, comfort and sanitation. We have a ten-foot roof overhang to offer protection from the elements, and multiple wading pools where the pups can relax or play in warmer weather.
And whether they are inside or out, they will always have 100% supervision by our trained handlers.
We have three large indoor/outdoor playrooms to ensure that your dog will be grouped with dogs of similar disposition and temperament.
The playrooms are air conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter, and we have specialized insulated floors for our guests’ comfort and safety.

Our overnight facilities are top-of-the-line 5’x5’ rooms with a separate air purifier for the health of all our guests, as well as a triple-insulated floor to keep the floor temperature consistent all year. Your dog will never be confined to their sleeping quarters during the day except to eat and rest.
We are committed to providing you with peace of mind every time you bring your pets to us.

Leader of the Pack – Chris Pratt
You may know him from the hit movies Guardians of the Galaxy, Jurassic World, and Passengers….
Oh, wait! Sorry, wrong Chris Pratt.
This business is our owner, Chris Pratt’s dream. She has the passion and love for animals that will ensure Wagging Tails is a fun and safe environment.
She only employs professionals of the highest caliber because she truly wants every animal in her care to have the absolute best treatment possible.
Chris is a lifelong animal-lover and businesswoman. She is a Western Massachusetts native who saw a need for additional dog daycare and boarding in our area. Chris is happiest when she is playing with her Lab mix, Wyatt.
She is trained in animal CPR and possesses a lifetime of experience loving and training her own dogs. She is often asked by friends and family to dog-sit or help out with training.
Bark Control – Ron
Ron has over a decade of experience in training service dogs, Ron has worked with several canines,
predominantly Labradors, across various breeds.
His knowledge encompasses not only basic obedience training but also specialized training tailored to the unique needs of clients, including those with PTSD, limited mobility, and hearing impairments. Additionally, he has mentored several trainers in the art of positive reinforcement training.
He believes that dogs are more responsive and eager to please when they anticipate a reward for their behavior, recognizing that they have distinct personalities, which necessitates meticulous attention and patience.
In the last ten years, Ron has developed an understanding of canine behavior and training techniques, allowing him to successfully work with canines from puppies to adult dogs. He takes pride in his work and his passion for working with dogs has only grown stronger over the years, making it an invaluable part of his life.
